AnimeLab IRC
Network Rules / Policy
This server is being brought to you free of charge.
Follow the rules in order to make other people's visit more
enjoyable, and to help the network remain around for years to
come.
General Server Rules
No harassment (sexual or racist).
No advertising (personal channels or other servers).
No DOS attacks, hacking, or proxies allowed.
No flooding the server, its channels, or its users.
No hacking / sexually oriented channels allowed.
No file serving of copyrighted material allowed.
No false reports of abuse/events will be tolerated.
Digisubs, fansubs, security, and fserv related channels are
welcome as long as you don't break the boundaries of the law.
Any complaints regarding violations of this rule will result
in an inspection and a request to remove the offending material
as per our material distribution policy: http://www.animelab.com/material.shtml
Threatening users with DOS, floods, or exploiting client or
server bugs will result in notification of such action to
your ISP as per our SDP: http://www.animelab.com/servdef.shtml
Things to know
IRC
Operators at any time, with out legal constraints, may verbally
warn users to leave the server or remove them by force.
IRCOPS
do NOT handle channel/personal squabbles.
IRC
Operators DO handle channel takeovers, flooders, removal of
unwanted bots, and recovery of lost passwords to identified
owners.
Report
abuse
If
you have problems with an IRCOP, please email support@animelab.com
with the subject of the email as "Oper Abuse".
Also, include the operator’s nickname and a log (proof)
of the event.
Remember, the administrators are bringing you this server
COMPLETELY FREE. Therefore, they hold the right to do as
they wish and remove any user they consider should be banned.
